Co-ops

MKS offers seasonal co-ops that range from 3-8 month programs. We offer supplemental training and experience to students to advance their education and help you jumpstart an exciting career. Co-ops earn college credit while contribution to the long-term advancements of MKS’s initiatives and can be embedded in meaningful work. Applicants must be enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program and should consult with their institution to ensure eligibility for participation.

Internships

Internships at MKS are typically 10-12 weeks and a prime opportunity for students to accelerate their career by developing in-demand skills. Our interns are empowered to complete business critical work, and will have the opportunity to apply their studies to significant projects for the business while bringing their unique perspectives to the company.

Emerging Talent

At MKS, “Emerging Talent” refers to someone who has 0+ years of professional work experience. This includes internships, co-ops, and university students who will be graduating or who have recently graduated.

In 2001, I started as a production engineer working with laser systems. I then accepted responsibility for the site’s quality management. I now lead our growing cleanroom production team of 20 engineers and technicians, who are building our Explorer® Laser series. MKS has given me the opportunity and support to grow, and I now serve as a coach for our new production team. I'm able to lead with my personal value of respect for the individual and enjoy actively supporting the growth of those around me. I'm happy to be among peers who contribute their own perspectives and broaden my horizons.
